Adding a picture to your signature or postTo add a picture to your signature, here's what you do.Go to www.photobucket.com and created an account. Upload a picture. Go to "Edit" picture, then "Resize" and chose Website/Email size, 320x240. After it resizes, copy the 3rd set of "codes," called IMG. If you click in that box, it automatically copies the code. Go to your Profile here and paste the code in your signature and save. If you want to put a one-time picture in your post, you do the same thing, only copy the code in the body of the post, like I am doing right here:

Thanks Gail. I have a dropshots account that I use but for some reason they are resizing the pics too large. I have a ticket in with them and they are working on it I had photobucket but I had some pictures of my daughter in cloth diapers stolen off of there so I don't use them anymore. My dropshots account can't be found by search engines like my photobucket could.

AAAAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRRGGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHH!!!!!! OK, I give up.....Gail, how did you do your Avatar for the Left Hand Column???? From Photobucket as well??? My sig picture turned out way too big to be on every post so I resized for Avatar but for some reason must be doing something wrong. All I see is a place where the Avatar should be with a red "x". It is not showing the pic. Can you steer me in the right direction since you are the only one with a successful Avatar pic on here so far???

Are you using Photobucket? When you upload a picture there, choose "Edit" and "Resize." One of the choices is Avatar. Select that one. Now copy the code for that (the IMG code). Now go to Profile and say upload your own and paste the URL. I actually saved my picture to my PC, I guess, and then pulled it up from there. You could try that. After you have it the Avatar size in Photobucket, Right-click on the picture and select "copy," then go to your picture directory and paste (if that works)! LET ME KNOW ... if these things don't work, get on Yahoo IM and I can help you! |
